A Sound Bath or Sound Meditation is a full-body listening experience that uses pure frequency sound waves to gently and powerfully create and encourage physical healing and homeostasis enabling the therapeutic and restorative effects on the mind and body.


The sound bath journey begins with each person taking a comfortable seat or lying down with often the inclusion of supporting props, blanket and eye pillow. 

The journey shifts to intention setting and Pranayama breath work which creates a space where we can ground and create awareness of our body’s own rhythms.  The sound journey entwines the many different sounds and frequencies being introduced along the way.

These sound omitting waves are created by a select variety of overtone-emitting instruments including crystal tones singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, Himalayan bowls, chimes, and mantras.

This experience can assist anyone who is looking for the wealth of benefits that meditation offers, or who is seeking a moment of personal relaxation  and introspectiveness.  Through this process of listening and feeling we connect and discover with the aspects of self and union of self.  For this reason it is used by beginners and experienced meditators with the common goal of inviting deep rest and relaxation.

Alpha and theta brain waves are stimulated throughout the journey bringing deep relaxation and a sense of pure connectivness to the entire body.  These sound vibrations have also shown to slow down the heart and respiratory rate, allowing for overall calmness and deep relaxation.
