“What an extraordinary adventure you curated and organized. There were a lot of moving pieces and many moving experiences. Each step felt thoughtful. Accommodations ranged from boutique to sublime, each with friendly, gracious staff. It wasn’t a culinary tour, but a highlight was the meal at Be Monk in Rishikesh overlooking the Ganga River, along with every meal at Vana. The bus transport sections were an opportunity to get to know each other better and savour the ever-changing landscape of India as it unfurled beside us. What made everything work was the two of you (with support from Sid, Fozia, and the local guides, of course). But mostly the two of you. Farhad–All the yoga sessions, both planned and impromptu, were precious moments to stop and ground in my body. I only wish I might have stayed awake longer during Nidra yoga. It was a unique opportunity to attend the fire ceremony and pray with your guru. I thank you for all the spiritual awakening and the chance to offer blessings in the Ganga. Darrell–You attended to the smallest detail of our comfort or emotional well-being. You made me feel safe and supported in a strange land. Your bright smile and stalwart physical presence anchored every space. One of my favourite memories is of standing barefoot in the Buddhist temple in Ellora, carved in 200BC, while a devotee quietly chanted a mantra. Pure peace. Thank you. I returned with an open heart. Namaste. And blessings to you both.”
