LABYRINTH SOUND MEDITATION SAT SEP 6 @ 5:00 PM
Saturday, September 6th | 5:00 - 5:45 PM
Mt. Seymour United Church – Outdoor Labyrinth
Tickets: Sliding Scale
Step into a peaceful evening of reflection, grounding, and community with Farhad Khan, as we gather outdoors at the newly created Mt. Seymour United Labyrinth—a space for quiet contemplation, connection, and inner stillness.
The labyrinth, an ancient symbol found across many cultures, offers a walking meditation that mirrors the journey of life. With a single path leading in and out, it invites a rhythm of release, renewal, and return. As you follow its winding curves, you're guided to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself.
We’ll begin with a gentle opening circle and guided intention-setting practice to center your awareness before walking the labyrinth at your own pace. After your walk, settle in outside for a sound bath meditation held right at the labyrinth, where Farhad will guide you through a deeply restorative experience using crystal bowls, chimes, and harmonic tones to soothe the body and calm the mind.
This is a unique opportunity to experience the healing power of sound in nature, surrounded by the grounding energy of the earth and the symbolic path beneath your feet.
What to Bring:
A yoga mat or blanket for sitting or lying down
A cushion or support for comfort
Water and warm, layered clothing
A journal (optional) and an open heart
No experience is necessary. All are welcome.
Location: Mt. Seymour United Church Outdoor Labyrinth
Time: Please arrive by 4:45 PM | Opening Circle begins at 5:00 PM
Space is limited. Please RSVP in advance to reserve your spot.
