SOUND BATH MEDITATION WITH FARHAD WED DEC 10TH @ 7PM

from CA$25.00

Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM PST

Location - Mount Seymour United: 1200 Parkgate Avenue, North Vancouver

Tickets: Sliding Scale

As we transition into the busy winter season, we invite you to pause, reflect, and give back to the community at our special December Sound Bath event. In the spirit of the season, this gathering is offered with partial proceeds going to support those in need.

Join Farhad as he guides you through a deeply relaxing meditation and sound bath experience, using crystal bowls, gongs, handpan, and chimes. Immerse yourself in the soothing vibrations of sound and allow them to support your mind and body in letting go of stress and tension.

These sessions create a sense of relaxation and overall well-being. The therapeutic sound frequencies help calm the nervous system, enhance focus, and support the release of built-up stress held in the body and mind.

This practice is accessible to everyone—no prior experience is needed. All are welcome to come, relax, and experience the restorative power of sound in community.

Proceeds will go to two organizations supported by the Church throughout the year and especially during the Advent Season through their Giving Tree: First United Church in the Downtown Eastside and the North Shore Youth Safe House, operated by Hollyburn Family Services. The Youth Safe House provides essential support to at-risk youth on the North Shore.

We invite attendees to bring NEW items such as toiletries, socks, pyjamas, and underwear to place on the Giving Tree in the lobby outside the sanctuary. These items will be distributed to those in need, and the proceeds from ticket sales will help purchase gift cards for youth, allowing them to enjoy simple outings with friends. Your generosity can make a meaningful impact, helping youth feel included and supported during the holiday season.

This event is held in the main sanctuary at Mount Seymour United Church, located in North Vancouver. As there is seating for ~300 people, you are welcome to sit in the seats provided. You may also lay on the floor in designated areas upon your arrival. We recommend you bring a yoga mat if you choose to lie down. Other suggested props to bring for added comfort: pillow(s), eye mask, blanket.

Parking: There is plenty of free parking available out front.

Time: Event starts at 7:00pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm.
