BACK MITRA RELEASE & GONG BATH THU MAR 19 @ 6:00 PM

from CA$45.00

📅 Thursday, March 19, 2026
🕡 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Mount Seymour United – 1200 Parkgate Avenue, North Vancouver

You can choose to purchase the Back Mitra Class on its own for $45, or bundle it with the Yoga Nidra & Sound Journey @ 7:45 PM for a complete experience at $75.

WHAT TO BRING:

Please bring your yoga mat, back mitra or blanket, bolster or pillow, block, strap, blanket, eye pillow, and any other props that support your practice.

Join Farhad Khan and Lindsay Collins for a deeply restorative class designed to unwind tension, calm the nervous system, and bring your body back into a place of ease. This therapeutic practice incorporates supportive props — including the Back Mitra — to gently release the spine, shoulders, and hips without the need for any standing postures.

Guided through slow, mindful movements inspired by Hanna Somatics, you’ll explore a gentle approach to mobility that retrains habitual patterns, reduces pain, and helps restore natural comfort in the body. Each sequence is intentionally paced to support nervous system regulation, spacious breathing, and a grounded sense of presence.

We’ll complete the evening with an extended savasana accompanied by a healing gong bath, allowing the sound vibrations to settle deeply into the body and enhance relaxation.

This class is suitable for everyone — whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner seeking a therapeutic, nourishing experience.
